Roger B. Grant Program
The Roger B. Grant Program is a funding initiative sponsored by The Parachute Foundation to support men and women during recovery in financial hardship land softly. The Parachute Foundation in concert with leadership at One of Us Inc, Hope Manor, The Sanctuary and Roger B. identify guests with critical financial needs which may include, ancillary costs, food, rent, gas and transportation. The Roger B. grants provide for financial support of these men and women so they may focus on their journey in recovery.
About Roger Bruner
Roger Bruner is a Renewal Specialist with the Dan Anderson Renewal Center at Hazelden Betty Ford. In addition, he is a 40 year member of The Recovery Community, and a Certified Spiritual Director. Roger starting volunteering before The Retreat even opened and has been active for 20 plus years founding “The Gathering with Roger B”, Instructing Big Book Studies as well being Director of Gopher State Tape Library, Inc. a non-profit recovery based recording service – serving the upper Midwest and Canada for the last 46 years. Roger carries a deep concern for individuals in 12 Step recovery and has extensive experience carrying the message of recovery to a variety of audiences creating curriculum for several treatment facilities as well as conducting workshops and retreats in the Midwest, California, Washington and Canada.
In 2017, Roger was the recipient of the George Mann Award in recognition of his leadership, compassion, and commitment to the recovery community.
