The Parachute Foundation Fall Charity Golf Classic!
Event Highlights
What a day for great golf and fellowship to raise funds to support The Parachute Foundation’s mission of supporting family’s in financial crisis at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital and The Retreat in Wayzata get the extra help they need to be bedside with their critically ill child and those guest in recovery who need additional resources provided by The Retreats aftercare programs.
Over 70 men and women golfers and volunteers braved the 50 degree temperature to support our inaugural charity golf challenge. The final numbers are not in yet but it’s safe to say the day was a great success.

Thanks again to all the players and volunteers especially Susan Ericson for overseeing the putting contest as well as registration. Hope to see all of you next year for an even bigger event to support The Parachute Foundation’s Mission to support families in financial crisis land softly.
Putting Competition
Between holes 18 & 1 there was a putting competition. Each player from the team took a long distance putt and then measured the distance of each putt to the hole. This was then added up, which was recorded as the cumulative score. Each player on the team with the lowest overall cumulative score was awarded a voucher
for: 2 flights, a video recording, & a still photo of their simulated parachute experience.
