2022 Parachute Foundation Charity Curling Championships

What more can we say except Thank You!! to all who joined and donated to us February 18th for our 3rd Annual Charity Curling Championships. The day was fun for all and the money raised will impact families in need at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital through The Parachute Foundation Emergency Assistance Fund.

Very special thanks to The Eddie Phillips Family Foundation for being our title sponsor this year. The support given made the day possible.

We also want to thank some additional sponsors: Everidge, Recruiters of Minnesota, Highland Bank, and Ted and Angie Erickson. Without your annual support financially and providing curlers we could never produce the event. 

Brooms held high to the Chaska Curling Center and staff for running a first class event. The instructors are world class and help make the day great. Cheers!!

With that said, here are the results. The 2023 Charity Curling Championship Team of the Year goes to Team Phillips consisting of Skipper Jay Phillips, curlers, Lily Smith, Joey Gamer, Bekah Wade, Fred Smith, Steph Smith, and Leslye Phillips. Congrats !!

The final numbers are not quite in yet but I can say we met our goal of $20,000 dollars raised to support our mission. This could not be done without all the support we got from sponsors, teams and the donors who supported those teams. Thank you so very much for all your continued support. 

Hope to see all of you next year and some new faces as well.
