What a way to start the Labor Day weekend with Friday golf to support our mission of supporting financially distressed families at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital and our Roger B scholarship to support young men and women in recovery get the financial help they need to continue their journey in recovery.

80 golfers and 10 amazing volunteers enjoyed great weather and great golf. Starting with an 11:10 tee time 20 teams played a scramble format to see which team could score the lowest to par for the day. The teams also took part in a “shot of the day“and at the end of their round each team participated in a putting contest to see which team could have the lowest amount of feet from the hole to win on a 70 foot putt.

What more is to be said the weather was great!! Deer Run Golf Club’s course was fantastic!! The players and golf were superb!!
