2021 Inaugural Parachute Foundation Charity Curling Championships
What a day it was at the Chaska Curling Center where 12 teams of 6 or more curlers over two sessions learned to curl then slipped, fell, laughed, and smiled on their way to an amazing fun filled day of curling to benefit The Parachute Foundation missions.
Because of these amazing friends, family members, and strangers who became friends, the foundation raised over $21,000 dollars and introduced the foundation to more than 200 additional new donors.
A special shout out to all our teams: Ice Cold Death Squad, Stones of Glory, Team Next Question, Rolling Stones, Team Parachute, Sweeping Beauties, Team Schwing A Ding, Team Hutton, Team DesLauriers, Team Rothstein, The Pleshe Party, Ice Station Zebra, and especially Stone Cold Button Biters skippered by Curling Captain Lynne O’Reilly who’s team raised over $5000.00 to lead the way in supporting our mission to help financially strapped families get the extra support to land softly on their feet during these crazy times.
